The Hunchback of Notre Dame

We recently dropped in on the opening night of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. It’s a story that’s been told many times, in many different ways – from the 1923 silent film starring Lon Chaney, to the classic Disney animated musical. But, after years of evolution – with new stage productions in Berlin, California, and now New Jersey, Disney Theatrical Group has crafted a show that is closer to the source material – the 1831 masterpiece written by French poet, playwright, and novelist Victor Hugo.
