After Charles Lindbergh flew solo from New York to Paris, he became the most famous man in the world. He and his wife, Anne Morrow Lindbergh, became the 20th century’s first celebrity couple, hounded by reporters and photographers at every step. These two intensely private people formed a bond marked by great tragedy and great success. They traveled the world and wrote about their experiences in best-selling books. A sprawling exhibition at Morven Museum & Garden brings a new focus to the “Couple of an Age.” State of the Arts visits the show, and meets Reeve Lindbergh, the couple’s youngest daughter.
“Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh: Couple of an Age” is at Morven Museum & Garden through October 23, 2016.
