Winner of the 2013 Tony for Best Play, “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” premiered at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ. Christopher Durang’s play is set in a Bucks County farmhouse, similar to the playwright’s own house. State of the Arts visits Durang at home to hear more about his Chekhov inspired dark comedy, starring his long-time friend Sigourney Weaver. Also interviewed are David Hyde Pierce and Kristine Nielsen.
