When Hurricane Sandy hit American’s east coast, Atlantic City, NJ was making final preparations to unveil the first 2 sites in an ambitious 5-year project to convert vacant lots into green spaces with world-class art. Miraculously, the art survived unharmed and the unveilings took place just 10 days after the storm. Meet artists Kiki Smith, John Roloff and Robert Barry, and curator Lance Fung.
