Boys Dance

Basketball, contemporary dance, and social justice are all on the curriculum at Franklin Middle School in Somerset, NJ. We visit the all-boys 8th Grade Advanced Dance Class taught by former professional dancer Aaron Ramos, and talk to some of the scholar/athletes who are his students. Franklin Middle School is one of few schools in America where dance is taught on a level with music and the visual arts. It is a model school in the arts, as designated by Arts Ed NJ.
