Description

Raw, funny, and deeply moving, poet Danny Shot has a new book, Works (2018 CavanKerry Press). Danny describes how the Beat poets influenced his career, including the launch of Long Shot, a poetry magazine he edited for over 20 years. State of the Arts is there for his book launch at the Hoboken Historical Museum, and to explore Hoboken with Danny – he’s lived there for over 30 years. We hear from his friends and colleagues, poet Alicia Ostriker, writer Eliot Katz, and artist and Issyra Gallery owner, Issa Sow.
