Take a personal tour with Michael Graves of his home, “The Warehouse.” This half-hour documentary was produced in 2011, and features extensive interviews with the famed architect and designer.

Michael Graves (1934-2015) lived in a renovated warehouse tucked away in a residential neighborhood. It was originally built by Italian craftsmen in the 1920s to store the belongings of Princeton University students. For more than 40 years, it was been a repository for Michael Graves’s own cherished collections, a laboratory for his design ideas, and most importantly, the place he loved to come home to. “Michael Graves: The Warehouse” is a window into the creative life of a man who helped shape the way we live today, from the household items we buy at Target, to the buildings we live and work in.

“Michael Graves: The Warehouse” was distributed to public television stations nationwide by American Public Television (APT) in 2011. It was produced by Susan Wallner.
