Description
MudGirls Studios has a social mission: to provide jobs for women dealing with multiple disadvantages. The MudGirls make pottery and tiles in Atlantic City, at a non-profit studio located at St. Michael’s Loft. The women learn skills, and create beautiful pottery and custom-made tiles for sale. MudGirls Studios was founded by designer Dorrie Papademetriou in 2016 while she was working at a day shelter for women who have suffered domestic abuse.
