Description

At the historic glass factory at WheatonArts, deep in the South Jersey pinelands, glassblowers have worked for over a hundred years. But today, artists at Wheaton are creating contemporary art using glass in unexpected and often marvelous ways. This CINE Award-winning State of the Arts special explores the world of the Creative Glass Center of America at Wheaton Arts in Millville, NJ, where fellowship artists live and work together as they pursue their creative visions. The fellowship artists featured are Charlotte Potter, Rika Hawes, and Kim Harty. Also interviewed is Hank Murta Adams, former director of the program.

New Glass at Wheaton was distributed to public television stations nationwide by American Public Television (APT). It was produced by Susan Wallner.
