Description

A performance from French-born guitarist/composer Stephane Wrembel, who honed his craft in the gypsy campsites of rural France.  Rolling Stone has called him “a revelation”.  Woody Allen recruited him to score his 2012 Academy Award-winning film Midnight In Paris.  And, most days, he can been seen playing with his band in Brooklyn bars or in jazz clubs around the world.  State of the Arts caught his recent performance at the Barron Arts Center in Woodbridge — a former library built in 1877, listed on the national Register of Historic Places.

Produced by Christopher Benincasa for State of the Arts, 2012.
