Description

“Uroda” is an 18 1/2 foot high sculpture created by Ursula von Rydingsvard for the campus of Princeton University is one of the largest ever made in copper. State of the Arts meets the artist, visits the copper fabrication studio headed by Richard Webber, and is on campusĀ at the Andingler Center for Energy + the Environment for the final installation. Ursula von Rydingsvard is an internationally renowned artist whose work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery of Art, Storm King, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art among others. Currently, an exhibition of her work is at the Princeton University Art Museum through February 7, 2015.
